Guessing Game

Ok people brace yourselves because things are about to get interactive.  I’m still working on getting together my introduction and first lesson for the Ewe section of the site.  In the meantime I know that people are dying for content and I can feel the suffering from here.  So with minimal effort I have put together a game that will wow you all!  Whoever guesses the closest answer will have their name immortalized in bold, pink letters on this page.  The game is simply this:  Guess the age of the following kitty-cat!

Good luck and God speed!

Alright people the game is over.  I made this much more confusing than I intended because there is nothing for scale in these pictures.  The cat is very small, and could probably sit upright in the palm of my hand.   It is actually 6 months old, and I thought this would be challenging because it would look younger than it really is.  Without scale though, it seems you were forced to judge on the cat’s grizzled appearance, which is indeed pretty grizzly.  So without further ado, the winner is:

ROSALIE PETERSON!!!

Alright people, I’ve edited my original post to include the solution to this admittedly rather lame riddle.

Good job Rosalie!!! what a feline expert. I read this too late to post a guess but I would have been wrong. It’s already Christmas eve in Ghana – time zones are a weird concept aren’t they? Chad – I hung your stocking by the chimney with care and I know that St Nicholas soon will be here! You will have to tell us how all those Ghanaian Christians celebrate Christmas.
    Love – Mom

Sorry that you missed out, but I couldn’t leave people in such anticipation forever! It is indeed Christmas eve and the hustle and bustle of the holidays is… much like the hustle and bustle of any other day. Actually a post entirely dedicated to Ghanaian Christmas would be a very short post.

I’ve got a nice big update coming and the first Ewe Lesson!! It is all written and formatted, which was a bit of work. All I need now is to corner Bridget so we can lay down the audio files. Soon enough!

Good to hear about the stocking also. I wonder what Jolly old St. Nick has in store for me. If the Gods are willing, maybe I’ll be able to Skype in and see for myself!

That, my dear, is my little secret.

I asked the owner of course! She said five or six months old.

      • rosalie says:

Chad, how come my e-mail and name are published on this page? I WON I WON I WON! You can tell I was raised on a farm!

        • Chad Skeers says:

I don’t think that your email is published here, Rosalie. I think that when you enter your email, my blog keeps track of it though so you can be notified if I respond or something. As for your name, it’s published because you won and are an all-star!
